As the part
of B-Ed curriculum my 4th-semester teaching practice started on 13/11/19, Wednesday at New Higher secondary school, Nellimoodu. I completed one week of teaching practice today. I had got the class 8 I.
I finished my lesson plan of this week.
I took the chapter, “Song of the Flower” from
the 4th unit “Flowers and Showers”. Khalil Gibran is the writer of
the poem ‘song of the Flower’. He is a Lebanese artist, his famous work is “The
Prophet”.I start the poem by introducing a flower’s importance in nature. In this poem, the speaker is a flower. It
speaks about the life cycle of a flower and its experience.
In this week
one important day is November 14th, Children’s day. At school, assembly headmaster give a speech. Children dressed in white colour and pinned a
red rose in the memory of our first president Jawaharlal Nehru.
“Children
are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as
they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow” – Jawaharlal
Nehru.
